Really enjoyed the “Helvellyn “ lakeland trail event today, snow on the tops to look at too :)

Notice the guys running around Snowdon also saw snow on the tops. What a change from last Monday!

It’s been a helluva lot better here than forecast though :) the trees are turning and the view looks different every hour. Beautiful :)

It was gorgeous! We took Bee-Dad out to Caldbeck for coffee and cake and to play with his camera, and did a tour of some of the lesser spotted viewpoints.

Thanks, Badger - when I took the photo I hadn’t spotted the double, but yup, it’s there. :-)

Flanker, I was sitting with three familiar looking people, and still couldn’t drag my brain out of its current state of fog for long enough to ask - well, that’s the problem. Is it ever a good idea to lean across to the next passenger on a boat and ask ‘hi, are you kinky?’ Even if you’re pretty sure said person is the highly respected KinkyS? Fault, if any, is mine.
