Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Is TRO around? I'm sure there's a pasty shop inside Liv St (near platform 10) that is a rival chain - think the West Cornwall concession is upstairs near Hamilton Hall?

Pasty Presto is rubbish, mass-produced bricks. Cornwall Pasty is tolerable, haven't been in The Padstow Pasty one. Stick to Choughs.

It should have been Georges, but despite serving a family meal just after they opened in the lunchtime session, they were traumatised by losing the next two customers to the frozen food store next door. In the evening they couldn't string two sausages together and the fat got cold. Will a change of manager make any difference? I hear that they are going for a French three star chef, but the public would prefer someone who has worked the corner chippies.

Not the result I would have wanted or expected, but that is pseudo-democracy for you, well I have thought that since wimpy got the early plane home. I last went to Pret at Manc. Piccadilly, the cost was preposterous, as are WC Pastys, still I think that is because everything seems expensive now that I am old.
