I did pass a solo runner at around 3am I think and they shouted out as I was wearing my white Fetch top and I can only apologise as I just managed a "yep" and should have chatted. But that was about 14 miles in and I had only run a parkrun distance in one go for the past two years so I was totally shot on that third lap. Glad I did three laps though, gave the other runners in my team a bit more rest! Great stuff all those solo people/100 club/teamers, some of you did a crazy distance and some of you were just crazy. Love this event so much, will be back next year for sure and think Windle might have three teams!

Plus I doubt they carried you - your efforts meant others could rest. 17th out of 203 is really excellent I finished 24th out of 88 female solos - may be my highest ever placement in a race.

I think I spent the same amount of time out on the course as them, just a lot less miles! I admire you solo runners so, so much. Incredible stuff.
