larkim Jul 2024 11:08am, 16 Jul 2024 25,151 posts	0 larkim I guess it's the clear "objectivity" of the standards; none of this "WA set tough quali standards" sort of narrative - if they are set objectively against some piece of history, there are few arguments to be had. Maybe the shoes are a confounding factor, presumably when the whole body suits came into swimming they had a similar issue. I'm not advocating change, more just highlighting different ways to do the same thing.
