Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

After a couple of years of damp squibs from mo I was definitely pleased to see that result, a step in the right direction. Eilish great, of course. Purdue clearly had a significant dose of covid to be three minutes off, but still she's a gutsy runner; hope she's not taking risks with long term health.

She ran the World Champs (DNF) with COVID so can imagine that wouldn't have a great effect.

That said, she's run this race 4 times including today based on PO10 and this is her second fastest here. She did win the other three and I presume fairly easily so the times are likely not representative.

61:50 is national class, but a far cry from international class that are running 3 mins faster than that. Hes still a fantastic runner, but I dont think we will see him winning any big events again. Hope he does, but I just don't zee it.

I'm guessing watching diamond League live tonight is going to be a struggle? Can't see it on Eurosport and doesn't look to be streaming live on YouTube. Obvs events elsewhere are dominating the BBC.

Yes, I had some hopes that the iplayer feed would provide a cunning route to normality.

One channel would be fine. Watch if you want. Otherwise continue. The sun will rise.
