Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I’m older than most here, and of the ‘regular’ companions (which discounts Ms Song, Capt Jack and others) Ms Pond and Ms Tyler are my favourites by some margin.

Torn. I liked both Pond and Oswald but neither were companions to Doctors I particularly liked even though Smith did grow on me. But for me, his series were so good because of Rory and Amy.

Gone for Pond and hope she wins overall.

Rose vs Amy would be the final I would have chosen (with Amy Pond winning the whole thing)

Happy with Rose/Amy final, but with a Rose win. She *is* the Bad Wolf, after all.

I don't remember Sarah-Jane from her initial appearances, but she has my vote from her appearances in New Who and SJA (yes I know that was for kids :-P )

Of the top 4, I'd say Amy > Sarah-Jane > Rose > a slap in the face > Clara Oswald & variations thereof. Not helped that when Clara arrived, for me the writing deteriorated and it stopped being must-see TV.

Finally quit a few episodes into Jolie Whittaker's tenure. Nothing to do with her, but poor writing + Bradley bloody Walsh did me in.

It does pick up. Try her first new year's special. I actually went back and watched the rest of her first series after that, and watched the second one much closer to release dates.

I thought Bradley Walsh was the least bad thing about the latest incarnation. The writing is bloody awful though.

That clip is fantastic. What were Monty Python doing there dressed as French onion sellers?
