Oooh lovely, HP - new trail shoes
Today's first newt was doing my tempo run clockwise round the park instead of anti-clockwise. I'm also trying a new recipe tonight and adding yoga 3 times a week to my training schedule spread sheet.

I also went the other way on my usual route and found a new way to cross the railway. And listened to a new podcast.

I drove through a village not that far away from me that I had never heard of before - and I thought I knew the local geography pretty well. I think that just about counts as a newt

My newt today was to actively encourage the dog to try to catch some 'wildlife' in the garden. Normally I wouldn't dream of encouraging this sort of behaviour but it was a rat and if it can't be caught then it needs to be firmly told not to come back (if we didn't have the dog I would ensure it didn't come back by other means but I can't take the risk of Wanda finding and eating those other means obviously)
