Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Today's new thing is cinnamon tea, which was an impulse buy the other day. Quite pleasant, which is a good job as there is a whole box of the stuff.

I do Headspace on the bus every weekday and now find it easier than on the weekend in the quiet of my own home.

I have done the whole of the Foundation course and am now on day 6 of the 30 day course on Focus.

Good to hear of some fellow Headspacers.

I've been using Headspace for about 18 months now, can't recommend it enough. I'm upto 20 mins now.

I've used on on the train, quite good as I seem to use the motion of the train. Though not so good when the ticket inspector comes round..

Three unexpected Newts for me this affie. All athletics related.

Best first.... not in comp and with the rubber practice bar rather than the scarey metal one ... but a high jump PB of 1.11 - might have been 1.12 - I put the measure tyo 1.13 because the rubber thing dips in the middle.

New training aid with Marlon - bondage trousers bungy.
New sensation of feeling very sick after short reps. (speed-endurance) nasty.

I love Headspace, too, SCP (and when I use it on the train, I'm always worried about the ticket inspector :-))

Those are BRILLIANT newt jingles, Sharkie *shakes pom-poms*

Well done Sharkie. My newt jingle today was to walk to a pub that we usually drive to, have lunch and walk back a different way. Wanda particularly enjoyed it and her other newt jingle was a different flavour of home baked dog treat at the pub, we usually buy her a pack of peanut butter treats but today we went for cheddar and Parmesan!

I love that Wanda had a newt jingle :-)

I have just done today's yoga, Sharkie. Once I've done the 28 day beginners course, I shall select the sessions that I liked and felt did me most good and fit them in to my training schedule accordingly.
ALSO - my new running club *beams* do yoga classes on Thursday after the speed sessions so that's also an option.

I did think that I hadn't got a newt jingle for today but realised I have two:
I had to do a DiSC profile for a work thing
I had a bath and was watched the whole time by a cat sitting on top of the loo
