Oh and another reminder... no-one should feel obliged to jangle a Newt every day. Just being all springy and hopeful is newtenough.

I have just ordered Biodynamic preparations for myself and 3 clients. This constitutes 2 newts: one: I did this before 8 am! I have never started this early! (I think the lurgy is shifting...)
two: I have never ordered BD preps for clients before, this is hugely encouraging! Another client was making positive noises about it yesterday too!
Just for info: biodynamic ways of growing are organic, with extra nurturing elements for the soil. I started using it on top of regular organic methods last year and it has been transformational for the garden and wildlife.

My newt of the day was Linds for wearing different kit, going out for longer and loving it 🥰 After reading that, I sorted through my running tops because I was reminded not to keep wearing the same 3 on a wash n wear loop.

Hanneke’s snoring cat was a very close 2nd place.

I noticed a neighbour had posted on FB that she was looking for ways to socialise their dog more. I've seen them with their GSD and I think they get some of the same attitudes we get of 'you shouldn't walk that thing where children are playing' so my newt for today is messaging her and offering to go for a walk round the playing field with her next week to let the dogs have some social interaction. They only live a few doors away and Wanda has briefly met the dog so it would be nice for both dogs to have a new friend!

I didn’t post one yesterday as I was a bit too fed up. It would have been my back has gone for the first time in 2 years :-(

Today’s newt is trying HRT for the first time :-O

WA I have been sleeping 14 hours a day since Monday, to sleep off/sweat out the lurgy! It seems to have worked!

Newt tops arrived!

The bottom two are both described as orange! One is cool, one is wool. The third one is lovely, but massive! But at only £5 it can be used for yoga...

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
