Going back to Sean Penn, my father always called the actor Sean Bean (GoT etc) as 'Shaun Born'

If the stress is good enough for one word, it'll do for both..!

Our daughter is Sian. Uncle-in-law always persisted in calling her 'Shey-ann' and an aunt-in-law has addressed her in Christmas cards as Siobhan for 20 years, despite me spelling it correctly every year in their card.

My wife says "delicatessence" for delicatessen. She also uses the word "slither" for a small slice of cake.

My parents convinced me that Wakefield was pronounced wackyfield and I only learned otherwise when listening to a rugby league commentary on the radio at the age of 10. Our team's coach used to refer to a "scintillating" run by someone, with the 'c' not being silent.
