Decent (and sustainable) fish is lovely, Fleecy, but it is expensive. It's a bit cheaper here if we get whatever's landed that day from the shacks on the beach!

it depends what sort of fish it is though, I've bought a couple of massive whole salmons recently which could feed about 4 or 5 people for £13. And if you buy the right flat fish at the right time of year it can be pretty cheap, you'd pay more than £4 for 2 chicken breasts but you can get 2 fish fillets for that. I'm happy to pay decent money for good fish though, I can afford it. I love fish.

Velociraptor
My fish tonight will just be a brace of basa fillets that I bought on the reduced counter at Morrisons a few weeks ago and defrosted by accident a couple of days ago. Floured and fried, I think.
