A wee wave to everyone I saw / met / missed at the weekend and a big well done to runners and supportfolk. Smiley chops all round!

Not that I saw anyone through the midges at BoO... in my Sophster style improvised midgeproof ninja outfit.

Brilliant Blog from Lucy. That was one of the highlights of the race - getting applause and a 'well done' from her at Lundavra :-)

I think it was my support crew playing psychological warfare with her... Jules has a lot to answer for. ;-)

Duchess
If she wasn't so nice, you'd hate her.

It's like having David Beckham compliment you on your pub football team kick-about... :)

Lovely to see so many of you on saturday - great runs from so many people. A very special well done _Andy. Podium place!! You've come on a long way since you started 'jogging'. What was the club name I saw you put down a few years back - Cleish Heffalumps?? or something like that. Anyway, off to read some blogs and look at photos (we came the long way home via Mallaig and St Andrews and I'm just back on line!).

What are other folk doing about the back-up requirements?
You must have a back-up vehicle (car, 4x4 if you have one (not required though!!)...
Who fancies a fantastic day out in the beautiful North West of Scotland on the legendary West Highland Way, supporting the lovely Sophster? Team of 2 would be best: a driver/sandwich maker and a runner/Muller rice opener. Eternal gratitude, fetchie fame and gold and jewels will be yours. (*)

It's Sat 7 August. Come on Fetchland.

* I may have lied about the gold and jewels
