It's not a link, just got the email from Phil...

"This is a group msg to all those that competed in the 2010 Dartmoor Discovery.
I am retiring from organising the Dartmoor Discovery and next year's race will be
organised by the excellent Newton Abbot based Running Club, Teignbridge Trotters. The new
Race Director will be Roger Hayes, currently chairman of the Teignbridge Trotters.

Website: www.teignbridgetrotters.co.uk

The 2011 event will be held on Saturday 4th June and the Entry Form details will be
posted on the TT Website within the coming few weeks."

Am I doing it again?

That's like having a mistress and she asking when will I see you again. It's a very loaded question. Err I choose not to answer it on the grounds I might incriminate myself.

Does this mean I have to go back to try and defend my title?

You will upset my running partner if you do that Loca :-) - she ran 10 minutes quicker than last year, would have won last year's with this year's time, but came 2nd last year and then came 2nd this year about 17 minutes behind you!

I might train really hard for 12 months and have a go at breaking the female course record! :-) ...In my dreams! :-)

It's a stunning record isn't it, you sure you don't want a crack at sub 4 :-)?

I'd like to think I was sub 4 hrs 30 capable, but I can't imagine ever running it quicker than that. I have been told off quite a bit for not trying to keep up with my running partner and that my time was soft, and I should run it properly next time round !

Well I didn't really 'race' it this year, and I think I could have run around 4:10 if I had raced it. With a bit more training I could probably go a bit quicker..but 4 hours might be a bit of a stretch :-)
