Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

November is the Australian equivalent of an English test in May. The pitch looked had a tinge of green.

Lack of red-ball practice for both sides. I don't think the pitch looked overly helpful to the bowlers yesterday.

Hard to see how this aging Aussie squad is still in place for the Ashes.

The climate might be comparable if England was located in the south of France.

Modern day Test cricket sometimes befuddles me.

108-6 second session of the first day of a 5-match test and you pull out this incredible shot (and not the only one watching the highlights).

All said though, the overall run rate really isn't all that. From any of the three innings.

Rained for a few days in Perth before the game, groundsman advice was put them in if you win the toss as wickets expected early. India didn't but I guess wickets fell even quicker than anyone thought.

Bit odd to send Cummins out as night watchman, then when he gets out, send the no.3 batsman (labuschagne) out anyway, who duly got out too.
