I think Hampshire are still favourites from here, but it should be close.

Realistically is now winner takes all at Aigburth.

Disappointing for Warks but at least its better than being in the mediocrity championships like Greppers lot

Was expecting Warks to go out and throw the bat, but Sibley seems to be in Boycott mode currently. Maybe the plan is to see out 10 overs of the new ball and then go for it.

In fairness, they have picked up the pace now.

Enjoying watching the livestream of the Lancashire/Hampshire game - such a nice old ground at Liverpool, great it to see it so full. It's not often you see standing spectators at a county championship game

Yes, although it only takes a wicket to change things. Seems like Mason Crane is tying up the batsmen quite effectively at one end, but the quicks at the other end are conceding runs - perhaps not surprising with the number of slip fielders. I wonder why Hampshire picked three spinners but have only used one.

Hadn't realised that Keith Barker is still playing county cricket. He's Clive Lloyd's godson, played for Lancashire as a teenager, but gave up cricket to play for Blackburn Rovers, which didn't work out and he then played in the Lancashire League from where he got picked up by Warwickshire.

He's been at Hampshire for a couple of seasons now, very solid left-arm pace and some decent lower order runs, an important part of the team.

Is that the lot who have overtaken Warks for Championship wins despite spotting them 3 up to 1979?
