But with all the red herrings it can be tricky but I can often get 1 or 2 connections I normally turn the sound off as the contestant’s chatting is off putting, and also I might pick up a clue from them that I hadn’t worked out myself. Even then I’m lucky if I get two categories in the time.

Addictive puzzle from the NY Times site - where the Wordle game lives. The aim is to find four different groups from each puzzle

Colour code for the groups are:
Yellow = easiest group
Green = next easiest

Blue = more tricky
Purple = hardest group to connect.

Beware of the herrings i.e. links between clues which are designed to lead you down a path that doesn't exist.

Comments on your games are welcome but please use the spoiler option to hide any comments that might give answers away for others still working the puzzle out 😃

If you see a comment like PBD then it means Purple By Default (or whatever colour you are left with last without recognising what the link is)
