Hi Wise Fetchies
It turns out that this year they're not running the Chippenham Half ...so how does it compare to the Bristol Half (I can't do the Swindon one as tackling the Spires and Steeple the sames day :-))
Muchle thanks in advance

Mr Mick & NOT so Little Phil
Cricklade( 1:47 ) is a piece of cake compared to Swindon
Bristol when we did it, we'd have hammered it, but we were told we must start at back - we still clocked around 2:10

Bristol = I've done it. Chippenham = I haven't.
I think it was 2007 when I did it, and it was an out and back along the Avon Gorge - I don't remember too much congestion, and apart from that, it was like most biggish city halfs.

I hated Bristol - but this was 6 years ago. The organisation was awful, couldn't get out of the finish area for an age afterwards. The goody bag was full of flyers and some concentrated cranberry juice, which most people choked on. And I got shoved in the back by some twat at the start.
It may well be lovely now...

Fetch is definitely wrong this time. Pudds is right, even if I suspect her "which most people choked on" comment is not backed up by hard data
