Minnie Mincepie Mad
I’m feeding my neighbour’s cats for a week and on Boxing Day I was up late in PJs and one of them came and sat outside on the patio and miaowed at me until I went next door and fed them😂

They certainly get used to their servants quickly! My neighbour returned last night and said she was sure they were looking behind her for me when she arrived! I think they were just looking for food! I’ll miss them though, especially as they’re moving away.

They are very clued in!
Lasya knows a couple of days or so before I leave her into the hands of feeders... And she sabotages!
My friend who once house sat and looked after her as I was away for 3 weeks said she knew when I had decided to come home!

I was in Italy, re-scheduling a flight to come home 3 days early... And she got all restless, sitting by the door, miaowing! Where is mum? I am sure she is on her way home now...
Also my ex told me that she would go sit by the door more or less the moment I started a journey home! So clever...

Hann it has been proven that animals do know when tiger humans leave to return home.

Mum thinks teddy sits by the door from the moment she leaves the house though!

Lasya definitely doesn't! :)

I find it interesting how strong our connections to our floofs are... I am glad Lasya is a long lived breed. She has been with me for 9 years and is still like a kitten, definitely not an older cat. I don't know what I would do without her!

I got Lasya when I was starting to go downhill with Lyme disease. I am seriously not sure if I would have pulled through without her! I had responsibility for this kitten, so I had to get up and feed her, clean her tray etc... She would come and sit on me, gently grooming my hands, when I collapsed on the floor for hours, keeping me conscious... She is the most amazing thing!!!!

This happy, soft, warm purry thing showering you in unconditional love... Possibly why she isn't food driven: she was fed erratically and knew she had to make her kibble last as I would get stuck upstairs for days sometimes. So she never gobbles all available food in one go.
Really handy when I am away for a night or two!

Raedolf the Rae nosed Raendeer
When we still lived in Cardiff and Sam was working from home most of the time, 'Nny would often sit on his lap during the day but jump off and run to the top of the stairs just before I got home - we think he could recognise the sound of my car, as there wasn't anyone else on our street who drove a mk2 golf gti at the time.

He was such a good cat.

I think he simply sensed your presence Rae.
