Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I tried keeping Lasya out of my "bedroom". I succeeded for about 2 nights... My Chapel is open plan and I thought I could keep her out by putting a screen across the bottom of the stairs... Nope! She cleverly managed to squeeze past and was proudly found purring by my head: look new mum, I have found you... so cute! I could not face putting her in the bathroom at night, only room with a door... So she sleeps on the bed. If it is cd, she comes under the duvet, a permanent hotwater bottle. I initially feared I would turn over and squash her but this never happened. Cats are very clean so I don't think it is unhygienic.

We just nodded off on the sofa together. Soppy me doesn't want to go up and leave him. I am officially a mad cat lady!

We have cat hair everywhere. I’m not the biggest fan of it, or cats on kitchen surfaces and tables, but they have made it clear I have limited authority in the matter. They don’t dribble much as yet but I’m sure that will come and they are mostly cleaner than I am. I don’t drag my kills about and vomit everywhere either :-) obviously I feel enormously honoured when one deigns to sleep on or next to me

Stripey sleeps downstairs to stop him bringing me mice during the night

If he does sleep on my bed, I don't kick him out and he gets very annoyed if I have the cheek to move or roll over in the night!!

I don't think it's unhygienic. Stripey has only puked once in 10 years and never had an accident anywhere indoors. I've never seen him crap in the garden either, so am hoping he goes next door 😀💩

Mason has taken to sleeping on me now it's cooler. Annoying, as I get too hot anyway.

Stripey is brill!

Lasya pukes regularly. Largely because she eats too fast... She then gobbles up her puked up food 😱
