It lasted 24 hours and was very frightening: drooling, uncoordinated, couldn't walk etc so I changed from the vet one, forgotten the name, to fipronil for fleas and ticks, which apparently isn't systemic, but kept worming her once a year. I even stopped that, but I do check for signs of worms. She used to catch and eat loads of rodents but since my neighbours with FOUR tom cats moved in, she rarely goes out. Thank goodness these ginger toms, all gorgeous, catch the rodents...
