Not at present - I live in two places. She has required some medical assistance over the weekend and I went home to make sure that she was getting it. Am back at the wife's place now.

I was 2.5hrs drive away. And wish mother would move now but I doubt it.

She does. I am usually there every week for 2-3 days, but am trying to stick to the lockdown rules as far as I can. Ambo was called out Sat night and she refused to go (having only just come out of hospital), and the GP that came out in the middle of the night did nothing at all (visit wasn't even logged with the surgery when the District Nurse called on Monday morning), and so I went back to make sure that something was done.

Vixx, have you been on the elderly parents thread, some amazing support on there......
(which makes me sound like the cat thread doesn't care, we do, as we are a lot of the same folks... but the support is there and it's a great place to vent when services let us down!)

I generally don't vent as no-one really wants to listen (as someone told me once), but felt there was a little background needed to Mom's pic.
