We've got some new recruits parading outside the window. It's most off-putting.

Although the survey was executed during a time of transition for the organization, I am very encouraged by the overall participation level and baseline scores. The results serve as our starting point to understand what is working well and where we need to focus our attention, and we’ll continue to measure our progress in future Pulse surveys scheduled for later this year. Now, for some high-level results. First, our overall colleague participation in the survey was 54%, and the overall score for {redacted} was 69. The overall score represents our collective sentiment about the organization.

Excellent thinking - do your employee surveys in a transition period and you'll catch many of them in optimistic mood.

Hi all
We have had some feedback regarding the health and consent form for our Yoga and Pilates, and have subsequently updated this form.
Please fill out the updated form attached, and bring to the Hub on L9 before your first session.

“We have received information that Extinction Rebellion are hoping to cause disruption at Canary Wharf as well as in the City tomorrow.
XXX will monitor the situation and adjust their security posture accordingly.”

Security posture? 🙋♂️ Or maybe 🙅🏽♂️ Or even 🤷🏿♂️

👊?
Wonder how much they are planning to screw up the marathon on Sunday. Hopefully they realise that doing so is more likely to lose them support than gain it?

It's not about support, it's awareness, it's bloody desperation stakes.

Do you really think so? I'm reasonably certain most people sentient people are already aware, but many chose to ignore that awareness due to other agendas. Those that don't understand already are unlikely to think anything else other than "oh look, its a few tree huggers and weirdos being a pain in the arse again." Support on the other hand, in big enough numbers, is likely to lead to action when it has enough economic/political impact.

Disagree, most people are supportive but passive. Historically you’ve had to agitate to get owt done.

Agreed, and roughly what I was trying to say. It's about getting active support, which will lead to action from the powers that be, not about getting awareness. But pissing of the masses won't get them to actively support you (whereas pissing off the establishment is fine, and needed).
Anyway, this is far too serious for discussion in here!
