Part of the joy for me is the travel to the race, the hotel stay, new stations, new towns, the whole package. So therefore, although I do a lot of Enigma races (which I do entirely so I can spend time with friends), and Mablethorpe and usually Nottingham as it would be daft not to (and Kent Roadrunner simply due to location and timing), I try to fit maybe five or six other events in that I haven't done before. this year was to be Clumber Park 24 hr, Manchester, Seabank, Berlin, York and Dymchurch, though the first two have been replaced by local LDWA races, which I enjoy just as much.

All my races this year with one exception are brand new events for me :)

I can only do 18 this year so gonna make them fun ones :)

Next stop Idaho :)

I'm just short of a 4 to 1 ratio of Marathons to parkruns :)

My only repeat offender was the Enigma Reverse on March 19th.

I've done twice as many marathon + races as I have any other distance. My parkrun:Marathon ratio is 1:15 :-)

I have more 100 milers than half marathons & more 50kms than 10kms - i'm sure i'm doing this all wrong ?! ;)

I've never done a parkrun.

I've done 2 x 30 milers.
1 x 28 miler.
21 marathons.
13 half marathons.
2 x 10km

and.... in a different lifetime....

1 x RFL. :D
