Jambono - I know the Bristol part of the route and it looks quite interesting. The scenery should be nice - rivers, canals, bit of countryside, woods etc. Looks like it's all tarmac tho except maybe it goes on the river path at Hanham. I'll nip back and check.

Isn't it a half marathon in Bristol (heading out west and back) then a half marathon to Bristol?

Lol. Stupid route. Would be better the other way around! Or there could be a great marathon up the portway and then onto the Severn Way, but seriously its two half's put together. No way that is worth £48! I'd rather do out and back on the cycle path

Wasn't the Bath Half Mara over £40 to enter for 2015? So for an extra tenner you get to do a Bath Half AND a Bristol Half all on the same day!

Yes Bath Half 2015 is £40 which in an odd way makes this good value

I don't think £50 is that much TBH.
