Check the website www.run-bmf.com/?marathon_eventinfo it gives a map of the route and elevations, looks pretty flat to me.

Andiflint, I've been trying to get the course up but it doesn't seem to want to load. I think you should complain that if you're paying that much money they should get their act together re their website! I don't think it will be very hilly. I'm signed up to be working on the finish funnel so that could be interesting for me.

It's all a question of scale on the elevation chart. I don't think it's exactly flat.

One thing I've noticed: all the advice on the site says "take three gels an hour" etc... and gels will only be available on the stations from mile 18 onwards. Thanks a LOT.

The only real hills will be getting between the overcliff and the promenade.

I'm working on the aid station at Southbourne deckchair roundabout on the Sunday. If memory serves me correctly thats station 2 for the half and 3 for the full.

I dunno JB. I noticed the signs going up around town today warning of traffic delays on the 6th.

I think the worst uphills will be leaving the piers to go back up to the top of the cliffs.
