Er... the email I just got said to read my "final details" race pack.
My "pack" contained my number/chip, and some electrolyte tablets. That was it. Was there supposed to be something else?

No - my pack was similarly light. I guess everything else is on the website. I just need to remember to print out the map etc.

I've done the environmentally sensible thing and printed the whole lot and yet I'll still be missing a critical part like the start time !!

Day one and so far looks like Bournemouth have a really good running festival worthy of any. Son did the 1.5k and has an enormous shiny medal to show off at school on Monday

I'm really impressed. I wasn't expecting much because the interwebs said it was organised by the same people who organised some really crap races, but actually it was great. Would've liked some pacers, but can't fault the water stations, the atmosphere, the route, the course measurement, or anything else. Even the weather was really good.
Also, I peebeed in the half marathon and then had fun cheering on the marathoners from outside my hotel afterwards.

Didn't take part myself but it looks like it was a good weekend.
I've been mulling this one over for 2014 but was surprised to see the prices. An Early Bird with club discount is fairly steep. I love Bournemouth to bits but I'll stick with Brighton as my expensive marathon for 2014.
