A boat description which can apply in very different worlds. (I'd rather be on Bing's than Odysseus'...)

This runs to 'only' 500 pages, albeit with a tiny font size. Maybe the hardback is missing the ending? I'm not sure whether or not I'll read it yet, but the main task is done: i.e. preventing another library user getting their hands on it.

It did occur to me as I almost put my shoulder out lugging the massive thing back to work that there's a certain irony in a book about Saving the Trees that probably takes a good two elms to make one copy...
