It's not easy to follow on Instagram which seems the only source of information but at Fairfield it looks like Beth was 25 mins up on record schedule on her BG. That would put her somewhere in the Bowfell to Great End area now, over half way and only 8 hours in.

Meanwhile Damian has dropped 35 mins against his schedule. Scheduled split looks quick looking at it but maybe paying a bit for pushing earlier? Any possibility of sub-60 is gone now I think but providing the wheels haven't come off completely he should take a sizeable chunk off the record.

No on the leg from Harrop to Wessenden he just dropped time. He has gone through every CP pretty much without stopping today and the updates are evenly spaced. I think it's a combination of an iffy split and some slowing. He's seems to have pushing hard today and I guess it's just catching up with him a bit.

Well, just back from doing leg 2 with Paul, he was 10 minutes up at Threlkeld and we delivered him to Hartsop just over an hour up. Cracking run, direct line down off St Sunday is rough though! We're next up on leg 4, Kirkstone to Grasmere.

Salomon instagram reports Beth Pascall 30 mins ahead of record schedule at Wasdale. Given that would be just under 9 and a half hours in and I'm assuming a 6am start (from the bits I've seen) that information is over 2 hours behind events.

And Damian in the last section from The Snake Road crossing heading for taking around 3 hours off the record. Should finish around 18.45.
