Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

rhb I think he's still cycling. The tracker is producing dots again that seem to be spaced in line with him still being on the bike. Not sure I quite understand the tweet you linked. It implies that he was about to start the BG over 4 hours ago, where as the tracker is showing him still some way from Keswick at gone 9.30pm?

RHB could you elaborate a bit on your plan? I do a circular route from Ingleton that goes over Ingleborough and Whernside and then follows the limestone ridge back to Ingleton. You can easily get seduced into going through the falls and then having to pay, but it's not difficult to divert around them. You have to do a tiny bit of incursion onto private land, but it's minor. Happy to share details

Ff there was an image which suggests a big chunk skipped? Tweet echoed that?

NE I'm travelling S from Haltwhistle tomorrow, it's a point to point so I'll be passing through, not looping around, Ingleton. I've planned to pass the falls N headed W-E then drop S into Ingleton.

I'm impressed with anyone cycling up the 591 in the dark this weather - seriously scary!
Looks like he could start BG 12 hrs behind schedule, hope his support have had some kip!
