Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I found the course easy enough to run but if you have bad knees a couple of the steep decents are uncomfortable.

I would not do it again though as I found it quite dull

Snowdon was far more impressive

Should be doing this, on Hippo's advice... :-)

Must get round to actually entering as I hear it fills up quickly.

Oh, do hurry Lyra--I hope you can still get in! I was sent my number over a month ago, so I'd figured it must be full up, but maybe not?

Anyway, I wouldn't listen to Gobi, who is after all a machine :-) "easy" and "dull" are not what most normal people say about it.

Yes, only decided last weekend to (perhaps) do it. Club secretary seems to think that even if I don't get a place, there may be a spare one going somewhere in my club.

Oh, ar*e. I appear to have gone and entered.

Damn, damn, damn the peer pressure on this site.

I know, it's astonishing what it can make you do! Well done, great, glad you got in.

completely agree with your sentiments expressed on another thread about downland hills being more interesting than flat roads (or somesuch, slightly paraphrased there!).
