That was sooooooo tough with the winds. My 6th Beachy and never felt pain as I did today.

Sorry to hear that PH, sure was a brute of a last 4 miles in to that stand still wind up to Beachy Pub.

Having said that of my 3 outings to Beachy it was my happiest, so good in fact that after some warm food and a massage I decided to run the 13 miles home.

Very glad I had good company because the wind was in our faces all the way.

Big thanks to Miles of Smiles and her Sister.

13 mile warm down, now that is impressive!! I was discovered curled up asleep in the baggage hall after.

The wind in the last 4 miles was ridiculous! The left half of my face has been exfoliated within an inch of it's life and is smooth as a billiards ball! Pity I didn't walk backwards to get the other half done too... Despite the winds a beautiful day out.

Thanks SS. I note you're towing the line at Bexhill half with my ill sis in a couple of weeks. I hope you've recovered by then.

How on earth did that northwesterly contrive to be in our faces on the Seven Sisters.
Lol at touche's power nap.
Ph hope you recover well. That was tough, and I'll be thinking twice about a 2nd go, but am looking forward to another trail marathon.
