sk - you have to swerve a bit to make sure you are in view of the camera. If that fails go back and run it again when the photographer can get a clear shot of you. Ask to see the picture and if you don't like it then fix whatever isn't right and do it again.
If you are Plodding Hippo then stand still in a good place to get just the right scenery too.

Yesterday afternoon Ant had got through about 8,000 of 41,000 photos, and reckons Tuesday at some point, so give him until Wednesday before sending him turds through the post or something.

One day the photographers will have an electronic chip-sensing mat that will link to the camera and automatically tag the photo with the correct runner. Wirelessly.
Did I just invent something brilliant? It was my idea. I thought of it first.

In fact, why have race numbers at all? Just an electric cattle-grid that kills anyone running over it that does NOT have a race timing chip.
