Oh. That Garmin Watch bargain turned out to be to good to be true and my order just got cancelled. A pricing error. Did get a 20% off voucher which would make the same watch a bargain, just not as good.

If they took your money, I would argue the toss that it is not your fault there was an error and they should honor the price.
Happened to me when in retail a couple of times and we had to honor the price

Yes the normal rule is that once they've taken payment, they've agreed to the contract. Exceptions may exist for very clear pricing/website errors where customers would have realised it was a mistake but I don't know if that could be argued here, especially as some people got the product.
Seems plausible they meant a £70 discount (in line with some other models I think) rather than 70% but that's speculation.
I almost ordered one but decided it wasn't quite what I wanted, despite being very good in many ways.

It looks like it was an error and legally they could say it was a gross error and cancel orders. I think there are a lot of people who have taken advantage and there are now loads of these watches on eBay.

I thought if they were going to cancel orders then they would cancel them for everyone and not ship any. But it seems they shipped a load of them and then hit the stop button.
