If you are you'll know what I mean...
If not: Having heard her name mentioned on two running podcasts and then again in Adharanand Finn's Rise of the Ultra runners book (loved that, listened on Audible) I thought I'd investigate what Helen Hall was all about. It seems like she has worked miracles with injured runners and helped others go on to improve their performance by large margins. I've been reading her book (on Kindle, probably not the best way to do so). I find the writing style and the waffle a bit much, but am intrigued by the concepts - though apparently not enough to actually try the pre-run movements and start on the process ---
This might be one for the more efficient running thread ?
So, if anyone is WujWumming, what do you think?
or am I going to have to be the Fetch guinea pig?
On the other hand, I'm currently listening to Shane Benzi's "the lost art of running" - which seems to come from a similar place...

I confess I am intrigued though. Is the book good?

The book is probably good if you don't try to read it all in one go and stick to a chapter (pyramid layer) at a time and work from it. You also need not to be irritated by her occasional hippy-drippyness and "sense of humour"

WujWum is warm up joints, warm up muscles - but not in the sense that we'd usually warm up or stretch

I keep pressing submit before I've finished my thought process! - the book is called "Even With Your Shoes on"

Just be prepared for an odd writing style!
