It's funny throwing caution to the wind so to speak, you're just waiting for it to come and get you and I almost got away with it but from 24 miles I was running on fumes. As for winning the battle Ferg, well I was kind of hoping for another 42 seconds as you'd expect but I am certainly satisfied with what was a 3 minute PB.

On reflection much better than London, which at my plodding pace is a scrum where you cant possibly take the blue line consistently for the first 13 miles or so. I might be GFA but London will be a glorified training run for me in future, while Abingdon is more of an A race

Number 3 is going to be Abingdon...that is if I can get into good enough shape by September to do it, otherwise I will be offering the place to the waiting list. My PB is 5:15 from 2010 so if I don't improve on that I won't make cut-off. I best get out training so that I don't get caught by either my September cut-off or the race one.
