Any whisky drinkers on here?
I usually have something in the house year round as I only have an occasional glass of single malt, but right now I'm running out. Usually I go for an Islay as I like the smokey peaty flavour, but have had Highland Park in the past and really liked that. Recently had Bowmore and previously Lagavulin.
Any recommendations or favourites and why?

Laphroaig is more or less a constant for me, Jura is also palatable.

But I get up again.
I don't drink often at all these days but I generally have Laphroaig on the shelf for Those Days. At the moment there's also a Bowmore. Santa usually brings me a nice malt and I usually have some of that bottle left by the following Christmas when it gets some company!

Completely with you Nellers. On McGoohan and Christmas whisky gifts. Far better than socks.

JB - Welsh? Now there's a thought. Must be fairly young, or am I thinking it's very new when in fact it's been around for ages?
