Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Anyone dabbled in the "Tales of the Jedi" shorts yet? FInished them this morning. Really good stuff. They're 6 short animated films with stand alone stories, but together they have an arc about the jedi and their interactions with corrupt governments, and what the Jedi Code requires of them in those circumstances. I really enjoyed them.

Andy Serkis is just brilliant in the latest Andor episode. Absolutely fantastic as he goes through the character journey through the course of this episode and realises the truth of his/ their situation. The final line of the episode could have been so meh, but it's genuinely epic the way he delivers it.

Disappointed, LindsD. I’m on the point of trying to manage to watch it in the mornings before work I’m so desperate for the next episode!

I think it's improving, although the chain gang thing doesn't seem exactly onerous. Sticking a few bits of plastic together and a quick furtle with a torque wrench isn't exactly the Siberian salt mines. Also, the white pyjamas are quite snazzy and very fashion forward.

It’s the “gamification “ of it though, JB. Each table is against the others, so no unity in the prisoners generally. The “winner” on each shift gets better food, the losers get the electric floor treatment. Hideous pressure for everyone involved, and they’ve even got a prisoner to act as overseer.

And the torture scene was terrifying!

Another cracking episode of Andor this week. Probably my favourite so far, but I've said that 3 or 4 times already this series.

If Andy Serkis and Stellan Skarsgard don't win awards for their performances this series there's no justice.
