I would say the most sensible thing would be not to do it…but then a) I couldn’t do an Ultra and b) I hate running in the heat. Good luck though.

There was a time when every marathon or ultra I did seemed to be on stupidly hot days. Try to enjoy it!

We are off to Jersey today! ✈️ A two night stay.

Out for food with friends tonight then parkrun in the morning to tick the J off from the parkrun alphabet.

Morning all.
Unexpected trip to A&E early this morning after a night of constant high heart rate. It seems I have supraventricular tachycardia. It’s not life threatening, nor will it damage my heart, fortunately. Follow up cardiology appointment on 10th July.
