I’ll be spectating at Beachy marathon Carp and then running the half the next day after a sudden burst of FOMO and excitement at managing a very slow but steepish six miles today

Just got back from a totally brilliant day at Epsom races! The crowd loved our singing (we were asked to do an extra, impromptu set in the Royal Box before we left - no actual Royals of course but a group of people celebrating a special birthday), amazing finishing post view from our box, good food served by charming staff, and for many of us (me included) winners in the races :-)

We've been asked back. We've said yes please!!
My friend's Fitbit says we did well over 10,000 steps too :-)

Well done everyone for excellent racing, singing, dog swimming and donk pic posting

I did 12 miles, faster than I expected (or frankly should have done) on legs that have been randomly stiff and tired since we flew back from the US of A. Hopefully it will have got them moving again. All I have to do now is keep going at the same pace for a further 14.2 in Chester next Sunday and I’ll be a very happy bunny 🤞
