Was a very warm walk, the g&t went down very well. Was lovely finally meet you to alpenrose

We have since been to the pub on the bikes for a bite to eat, and maybe another gin for me.

Have had a lovely few days relaxing with Woo - funny how friendships on the internet made over 15 years ago last so well 😁

That's such a lovely photo of the three of you - you all look so happy and relaxed :-)

I've been for my swim and it was gorgeous apart from getting really bad cramp in my calf just as I was thinking of getting out. I have only had cramp like that (my calf going completely solid) once before, when I was finishing a mile swim in a pool. I don't know why it happened tonight because the water wasn't cold and we'd swum at a leisurely pace.

Luckily I'm not a panicker and managed to swim one-legged back into my depth!

It was a lovely meet-up :) Very glad that alpenrose made the effort to drive over to us.
Serendippily - we are as thick as thieves when we get together ;)
As Moo said, we have had a great time this week. I will probably blog.

Daisy, that sounds a bit grim. Good thing you can swim one-legged.

Stayed in most of the day, and went for a walk in the evening when the sun had more-or-less set.

5k done, slowly and with walking breaks but the main issue was needing the loo after a mile :-0 Luckily the public loos were already open at 6:30 - who knew? :-)

Morning gonks. Rubbish sleep again. GF got a fan yesterday but it was so noisy that we gave up on it in the end. She's out doing an 18 mile run now. I'm going to try to get more sleep.
