23 miles is the highest mileage I’ve done this year, I think, but the longest I ran in one go was 5.4 miles. I’ve done 8.5 today but in three segments. This is not my usual run profile. I find this weirdly fascinating. Wake up at the back there

Hi gonks. Took GF to her first football match (and daughter to her first women's game), Holland vs Switzerland in the women's euros in Sheffield today. Then I did a short run when we got home. I have something I have to post tomorrow so will do a short walk and if pottery is still on I'll be doing that in the evening but apart from that I think it'll be an admin day at home. Hope no-one melts tomorrow. Stay safe gonks. |

Bonjour tout le monde! My exercise for today was cycling up to the boulangerie to get croissants for breakfast. After a night spent sticking to the sheets and fighting off mosquitos that's about all I'm good for. The house does have rudimentary air-con but a) it doesn't reach as far as our bedroom and b) my friend reckons the hum stops her from sleeping so doesn't want it on |

Oh eck LD, hope you can reach a compromise. I've been wide awake here for 45 minutes. It's so warm already. Pottery is (thankfully) likely to be cancelled tonight. Post office walk will happen around 9. GF has today booked off. |

Morning I like Sweetie's description of cycling into a hairdryer. Well done Kim! Nice part of the world to tip up in TB, have a great time. Some good running going on in the heat, well done! My nephew left yesterday, they made good time and got on an earlier ferry so I last saw them on the tracker heading out of Calais at 10 last night. I've not run for over a week, niece suggested we run at the seafront before going on the beach. |
