First day off for me for a while, but cant run as waiting for packages :(
One of which is an exercise bike so not to bad :)

Can i get a race added to the sidebar please? Newport Marathon 24th Oct, it will be my first GULP! :D

I'm off for a longrun with a friend and doggedly avoiding Prince Philip obits and posts.

I've just learned there are 11 women invited to a hen party and the legal max is 10. My running friend is the organiser but it is the hen that invites too many. Gonna be a tough one but I cannot go to an "illegal" party, no matter how ridiculous it sounds.

Mind you, the only hen party I’ve enjoyed is my mates night out at a comedy club, finished off by some dancing. And my own which was a tour of some V&A galleries (and shop) followed by some tasty tapas with lots of random chat
The rest have been an awful mix of drunk women wearing condoms and painful banter

I think this one will be really fun. We are all middle aged and it will be at a home, so no men. Just a potluck meal, some very tame games (quizes) and a lot of chat. None of us likely to drink too much.
