Now to spend an afternoon doing life admin - change energy supplier, order paijnt samples for J's room and then the usual running club admin. Thought I'd do it today and then have tomorrow doing some stuff that I want to do!

Not an attractive day for running; strong winds, heavy rain with an occasional hail shower thrown in, abruptly clearing up for a few minutes sunshine. However, if I hadn't done not-a-parkrun today I would have missed it for the week, so I set off in one of the brief no-precipitation periods and ran through all the rest of it (hail included).
Sombrero Mar 2021 6:39pm, 13 Mar 2021 11,888 posts	0 Sombrero Afternoon, a nice relaxed day here - was following the crap football online (tin-pot cup final between Pompey and Salford) but it sounded crap and went to extra time. Glad I decided to run instead of following it as Pompey lost and I did a sub 26 min 5K which I wasn't really aiming for. Columba, that sounds ropey - it was very windy here this morning and afternoon - eased off late afternoon.

MrS used everything I gave him, including the sucker that came with the night light so you could lower and twist the bulb into the slot. He stuck it on his forehead larking about pretending to be an alien and then had to try and cover the suction marks with his fringe the next day before seeing the dentist. Very good value all round

I was also going to get him his favourite (expensive) whisky and combine that as is retirement present. Might as well look for a golf T-shirt as well in the hopes I can get him to stock rotate some old ones
