Wow, Brighton really know how to arse it up. Major water shortage in a heatwave a few years ago. And was it not them that also had a short course that meant people's otherwise qualifying times didn't count?

Friend of mine blew 15 minutes off her marathon PB and got her ambition of sub-4 by about 30 seconds. She'd be a lot less sanguine about the course error if she'd missed it by 30 seconds.

Pool closed this week and swim serpentine on Saturday, so may even go to the gym for the 1st time in 18 months :-O

BTW really enjoyed supporting DD2 at Richmond HM yesterday. Great course around Kew Gardens and then Thames towpath down to Old Deer Park. Friendly, flat and sunshine. One to go on the list for next year.
