It was dog walk day, and that was lovely (I must look up another word for lovely, but that's what it was) - heard the cuckoo, and also a willow warbler. I would't have known but there was a couple who I've exchanged good morning nods with many times now since lockdown and they were staring into a tree whence came a pretty birdsong. Since I've got home I've watched a very helpful little video on Youtube on how to distinguish a willow warbler from a chiff-chaff. (Stumpy wings and black legs for the latter, basically.) Every day's a school day :-)

And for my square in the Almost Athletes bingo card today, I chose the 'Sally up' squat challenge, and did it out in the garden, in the sunshine. Longest 3 minutes 45 seconds of my life :-) :-)

So far I have listened to a podcast on the three oral exams we need to do, watched an example, and walked down to the surgery for an anti-tetanus jab. It's now midday, I have a Zoom meeting about to start and I feel like I've accomplished nothing.
And my arm aches.

Afternoon all

I have been to the office today - feels strange being there when it is empty. Daughter came down while I was there and let the little ones run around in the castle grounds as no one else has been in there or can get in there. So hard to not scope them up for a cuddle.

Knees are a tad sore and hurty today - not sure if this running thing will work out but will give it a few days.

Hope they don't stay sore for too long, Moo. Nice to see the kids, if only from a distance :)

Mrs12bar & I had a pleasant 11 mile walk today. Up through Clapham Woods & the Angmering Park Estate. We spotted this deer, & quite a few more on our stroll. Alas, all the bluebells have now gone.
