um
Snap - nearly.
But not a patch on McG's scenic wonders

Full winter shirt today, for the first time this year. And still quite chilly.

Only 10 miles in deficit now, 120 miles for the month and likely to be all. But that's my highest monthly total since 2012.

700 beginning to feel doable, whether necessary or sufficient or not.

There are some lovely pictures on the thread today.

Hope Mr. S OK, Seren.

Might not set a target at all for next year. Only then I might find I'm not doing any running, which would be a Bad Thing.

The year’s not up yet but at the start of year I saved a £1 for a run and 50p for any other exercise and so far I have £320 in my kitty - pretty chuffed with that :-)

Myself and Shondo did it in the hopes it would take up on a parkrun trip soI might just keep saving it till it can happen. :-)

That's a great idea LG but today I was telling OH that when we went into lockdown I put a tenner in my little running wallet. Apart from having to change it because the baker's in Sidmouth takes cash only (why??) and paying a parking meter because downloading yet another parking app (why don't councils all use the same app??) I have still got most of that cash in the wallet. Everything is contactless for me these days.

Anyway - the 11k RtS this morning was horrible. My right big toe has become really painful - possibly the joint where it joins the foot, but sometimes it feels more like a soft tissue problem. Anyway, it was really uncomfortable at time and yet at others it was fine. I don't know what's going on but I'm very glad it's only 3km tomorrow!

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed, sometimes even running.
