Sigh
@LD, they were recommended to me by my physio, and they've definitely helped me. I also wear these compression socks for long or hard runs: the significance being the grade of compression. Again, recommended to me (this time by the vascular chap at hospital for my varicose vein) and have really helped: amazon.co.uk |

Oh bugger, Dipps. I'm sure orthotics would help though x I have run and walked and walked again with the puppy. Been for a curry and now sleepy. Need to blog before I nod off. |

Oh dear, I'm sorry the acupuncture didn't go well, particularly after I'd banged on about how good it was GWS Carp and Paula and anyone else under the weather. |

As regards day to day shoes, indoors the Teva sandals I bought last summer teva.co.uk are all I wear (with socks - looks awful but they are far and away the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, they have a bit of arch support, and really it's only OH and the dog who sees them). Interestingly, Dipps, in the reviews on that link someone reckons they're good for plantar problems - I've no idea if that's true but you never know. Outdoors, my best shoes are some Clarks lace up boots. I think being lace-ups, I'm not having to grip with my toes as I feel I'm doing with any slip-on shoes. |
