Despite currently running like a lump of concrete I had fun at last night’s track session. We did some drills and then split into groups spaced at 100m intervals around the (300m) track. One person from each group then ran either 100m or 200m (their choice of distance) and tagged someone wherever they finished. All totally random, people all over the place. I tried to do mostly 200m if I could and also added in some 100m jog recoveries. We didn’t run for long as it was almost dark and we’d spent a while doing drills first.

Afternoon all. Sounds like great fun Paula, I do love me some intervals - Lol @ 'running like a lump of concrete' - brilliant description, sums me up to a tee! Got out early this morning for the run I should have done yesterday. Swim later with a new triathlon coach *is excited* |

I'm currently running like a wet fish. That track session sounds fun Paula |

Does a wet fish run worse than a dry one?

I’d say so. More slippery so can’t really get much grip? |

Yes, but a dry fish is generally a dead one.

Some things in life I see I don't understand Sometimes I miss the point To things that they've planned I know dead fish don't swim home When the seas get left alone When things don't go as well As they would have planned The big fish lose control Big fish on the land I know dead fish don't swim home When the seas get left alone I know dead fish don't swim home When things go wrong The big fish sound the alarm Potential dangers lead To potential calm I know dead fish don't swim home When the seas get left alone They play their games with toys They welcome a war When will the big fish learn Just what life is for I know dead fish don't swim home When the seas get left alone I know dead fish don't swim home |

Err??? I had the choice of a bike ride or gardening this afternoon and I chose the garden. Just as well, because it brought home to me just how overgrown it's become. It's worse now than when I had children at home and a job to cope with. This is the trouble with attempting to be a triathlete |
