I want to watch the end of the Manchester 10k - but I'm supposed to be going to Leighton Buzzard to collect youngest - wondering how much to gamble on the traffic.....

Traffic decisions! with judging that. I miss our molehil patch, not much of a lawn but great for sleeping out.

Forgot to say, good news that WAVAs go up by year, I thought it was age category. Does that go up on the significant birthday, or at end of year?

Well done RA. Awesome achievement.
Baker Hughes 10k for me this morning. Wasn’t expecting much as have bit of a cold. But only went and got a PB. Rather chuffed.

WAVA goes up on your birthday. For parkrun I think you change age group on your birthday, but for our club and county race series, you move category on the 1st January after the relevant birthday. It means that next year, I'll be 65 for more than half the year but still have to compete as an L60 not L65.
I think our club gives you the option of moving up on your birthday, but you have to start again on 0 points. It depends on when the races fall relative to your birthday really.
