Managed my first run (run/walk towards the end!) in over a month today. It wasn’t pretty and there’s lots of gunk moving around but it’s done and it was a lovely morning!

Andy - for first day in new job; and much applause for two weeks without a cigarette. I know several people who have given up smoking after years of it, and it certainly ain't easy. But from what they say, you're probably over the worst now.
Hope you get well soon, Lemon and TeeBee.
Lovely photo, Dave.
So both the cat and the umbrage have disappeared? Does this suggest that the cat has made a secluded nest somewhere with the umbrage, and is about to produce kittens in it?

Went to yoga, no instructor. Well no sh*t Sherlock. She said goodbye to us before Xmas, but Virgin Active seemed not to know, despite me asking them last Thursday if they had the lesson covered and being reassured it was all under control. Grrr!

Not long back from the physio, who has given me the green light to restart running. Or more correctly, he said the only way to find out whether running will adversely affect the knee is to try it. Carefully. Preferably following a C25K programme, as I will have become "unconditioned"; and avoiding hills (easier said than done, round here. Round and round the lake it is, then).
He also gave me a theraband and some more exercises, and we discussed shoes. And I'm to see him again in 2 weeks.
